Baptism Weekend

On May 15th, Taylor was baptized at St. Martin's by the Rev. Stu Shelby. All of the grandparents and great grandparents came into town for the big event. Lindsay and Jonathan Roumel were the Godparents, serving a short two days before their beautiful daughter, Alexis, was born (Taylor's new BFF). Taylor wore the dress I was baptized in a short 31 years ago.

1st Mother's Day

I'm way behind in my posts so I'm starting from where I've left off last. My first Mother's Day was truly special. We all made it to early Church and then had a great brunch at Houstonian. Taylor's squeals, burps and poops made for quite an eventful brunch. Ryan surprised me with a little "T" necklace from him and Little T.

3 months old!

What a busy month it has been. Taylor had her first Easter and attended her first birthday party. She is kicking, cooing and grabbing for objects. And she has discovered toys! Unfortunately, she has also discovered her thumb which keeps me busy trying to pull it out all day. She's sleeping well and is pretty happy overall (unless she's hungry and then she'll let you know).

All ready for Charlotte and Virginia's birthday party - my first one
Hanging out in the swing at the party.
Easter morning - all ready for Church
We made it to Church! And guess what - The First Lady, Barbara Bush, came over and told Taylor she was cute. I wish I had a picture of that.
At Easter brunch and having Daddy time.

Taylor's First Rodeo

Thank you Jonathan and Lindsay for humoring us and documenting Taylor's first trip to the rodeo. However, Taylor took one peek at the crowd and one sniff of the livestock and was perfectly content sleeping under a blanket in her carrier for the entire trip. Taylor is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new BFF Baby Roumel...who is also moving 3 blocks down the street. In the meantime, the daddies spent their time at the rodeo exploring the big trucks and tractors...we all know it's going to be playing princesses and driving Barbie cars from her on out!!! Sorry guys. :(

10 Weeks Old

I can't believe my baby girl is already 10 weeks old. We had a big month with a visit to Dad's new office, a hello from the Bregman clan, a visit from Aunt Patti and Vicki, a hat fashion show, multiple shopping trips to Nordstrom's (notice I'm smiling in all of these pictures) and a trip to the Rodeo.
