Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Taylor

What a difference this year has made in our lives.  It's hard to believe our baby girl is already 1.  Taylor had a fun-filled first birthday party yesterday and absolutely LOVED her cake and ice cream.  And she is officially walking too!

  

It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas....

So I could hardly wait to post a few Christmas pictures...How can you say "no" to that face??? 

  

Taylor's First Word Is....

Taylor's first word is....drumroll...."Yum Yum"!  It's so funny...when she is hungry she starts going "Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum".  When she's eating she's saying it too.  I never would have guessed this one since we've been working on "mama" for months.  And she is pointing at everything now.  Pumpkins, flowers, dogs, cats and babies are her favorite items to spot.

Sweet Sisters

I thought these pictures of Taylor and Chloe were so cute.  They are both reading the DOG book.  I just happen to be close enough to snap a couple of picture with my IPhone.  Can you believe how blonde Taylor's hair has gotten?

Busy, Busy, Busy

Taylor is busy, busy, busy and I'm busy, busy, busy trying to keep up with her in this house full of stairs and my giant ankle boot.  She's not walking yet, but has perfected the fast crawl especially when she knows I'm coming after her.  It's really pretty funny!  So this week we've been trying to get out of the house more.  We had Music class, dinner at the Ickes, Ruggles lunch and shopping, the zoo and a playdate at the Children's Museum with Lexi.  We really had so much fun together.

Driving the truck at the Children's museum.  Once Taylor got in the truck all of the other kids (who were twice her age) wanted in the truck too so she stood up and took charge.  She was not about to let them upstage her.
