Summertime in the Synnott Household

Caroline has teeth and is on the move - pulling up and crawling. Taylor has graduated from her Toddler classroom and is out of school for the summer.  She is also a little fish - swimming short distances and diving to the bottom of the pool for rings.  And our first baby, Chloe, turned five in April!

Dinner at Cyclone's - Caroline's first time in the restaurant high chair
Baking cupcakes and being a 'Messy Missy'
Loving the sweet goat in the petting zoo a little too much
Catching a little afternoon shade in the backyard
Amazing Snow White arm painting at a birthday party
Thinking about crawling, but just rocking
Swim lessons with Jack Sartain
Caroline LOVES Chloe
Chloe is good entertainment
Our first little baby turned 5 in April.  This was the day we brought her home.
Finally a smile for the camera!
Our wild and crazy girl at her 6-month check up - and in the 94th percentile for height!
Taylor's last day in the Toddler classroom.  Next year she will be in Primary and will
stay in that classroom for three years.
Bye bye First Steps!
Painting - summer has started!
This picture and the next two were taken on the same day.  Caroline started crawling the day she turned 7 months
AND pulling up on the crib - time to lower the bed tonight!
And pulling up on the coffee table - time to switch it out with the ottoman!
Happy (and BUSY) girl!
French fries at the Briar Club - Yum!
Silliness in the baby pool!
Play-date with Harrison Roumel
Dressing up at a birthday party
Making waffles on Sunday morning
First shopping trip with my two monkeys - it went better than

Who's Who?

People are always asking who Caroline looks like?  Now you guess which one is Taylor and which one is Caroline.  Same dress...one is of Caroline at 5 months and one is of Taylor at 6 months.  Think I might have to start labeling pictures.

Answer: a) Taylor; b) Caroline

Spring Break 2012

After a detour through Tulsa for my Grandaddy's funeral and visits with our families, we headed to Bulverde (near San Antonio) for a week of fun!  It was great to be together and do some new things, but we all were ready to come home after being away for over a week.  We hit Sea World, Natural Bridge Caverns Wildlife Safari, the San Antonio Riverwalk, and then shopping and lunch in Bourne.  Whew!

Silly sisters!
Taylor and Caroline love their Nani.  Three sets of BLUE eyes.
The Spunky Monkey in Tulsa.
Caroline is happy to have all of the attention
At Sea World and seated in the Splash Zone.  We were SOOOOO lucky, because
everyone else in the splash zone got drenched.  We will NOT sit there again.
The sea lion show at SeaWorld (and, yes, that's a giant walrus).

Not going to smile for the camera so she's getting tickled.
Riding on Mommy's lap for the drive-thru safari
We saw a whole herd of zebras.
Feed the goats out the window.
A giant ostrich - I got nervous and closed the window on this guy.
I could see crazy in his eyes.
At the petting zoo.

On a boat tour of the SA Riverwalk.  FYI-The Riverwalk is not equipped
to handle double strollers.  Now we know.

Bathing beauties.
Sitting up on her own!

Home at last!  Nothing like a fruit snack at home on the porch.
