Sleeping at 6 Weeks and Out of the Mommy Cave

I think we have turned a corner this past week or so...Taylor is sleeping "through the night". We posted several 6, 7 and 8 hours of straight sleep this week!!! OK, I'll let you in on the big secret...TIGHT SWADDLING. I hope we don't jinx ourselves.

Also, we can come out of the Mommy Cave. The doctor said I'm healed so we can now start getting out of the house (lifting the carrier) and exercising. We cannot wait to go the grocery, gym and shopping!!! Here are some recent pictures of Taylor's past few weeks.

Who knew it was so cold in Houston that Taylor would need a hat with earmuffs and gloves?

Hanging out with Ryan and Julia...right before I spit up all over Ryan's shirt.

Snuggling with Daddy...

All dressed up for dinner with Grandpa, Lori, Uncle Ken and Aunt Mary. Check out the fur collar.

Taylor can smile and wave!

Happy Valentines Day!

She loves her paci (and so do we).

All dressed up to go shopping at Neiman's with Grandma.

Taylor's not sure about mom's photo shoot.

She finally looked at the camera and we got our picture for the announcement!

Bird face! I love when she does this.

Taylor's first real bath. She liked it so much she fell asleep!

Welcome Taylor Elise Synnott

Taylor arrived on Saturday, January 9th at 1:42pm. She was 8 pounds 5 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. She arrived exactly on her due date (I think that's a sign that she is organized) and decided to do a somersault during labor so she was born via Cesarean. We are absolutely in love with her! We made it home from the hospital on Tuesday and everyone is doing well.

Taylor on her birthday

Day 2 - All dressed up

Going home - wearing mom's take home outfit (it's 31 years old)

Happy birthday, Daddy! (I think I look just like him)
